Tom began his business in 1979 and has been building homes full-time ever since. He received his B/S degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kansas, and later obtained a Master's Degree in Business Administration from UMKC. Gayle has been in partnership with Tom in the home building endeavor since 1979. She has a degree in education from the University of Kansas, and taught school for 7 years. Gayle manages design and decorating of model homes, and oversees options for clients in the selection process. Gayle's influence has proved an enormous contribution to the success of Tom French Homes.
Paul began his career with Tom French Construction in 1983. Paul obtained a bachelor's degree in Construction Management from Pittsburgh State University. He oversees field work and project managers. Paul manages quality control and scheduling, holding the company and employees at high standards.
Johanna has been with Tom French Homes since 1998. She attended Kansas State University and obtained a bachelor's degree in Interior Design. She meets directly with customers to finalize decorating selections, and works closely with Gayle on model homes.
Tim is Tom and Gayle’s nephew and grew up in Olathe. He has been working in the construction industry since the age of thirteen, and spent summers, weekends and evenings working for Tom French Homes and other companies. In 1988 he spent 7 years working full time for Tom French Homes. He then ran his own construction and remodeling business for twenty-three years. He is excited about returning to the Tom French Homes team, and working in Meadowbrook Park.
