Construction Philosophy
Since 1978
Tom French has been designing and crafting many of the
most exquisite custom homes in all of Kansas City. Years
of dedicated commitment to professional service has resulted
in Tom French Construction, Inc. maintaining a longstanding
reputation as one of Kansas City’s most respected
home builders. Award winning designs, attention to detail
and a unique drive for quality craftsmanship help to

Tom has captured
the attention of Kansas City’s discriminating homebuyer
in some of the area’s most popular communities
including Hallbrook, Deer Creek, Edgewood, Cedar Creek
and Woods Villas. Tom will go even further to set himself
apart from other Kansas City homebuilders by utilizing
many of the most current Green Building Techniques, providing
his clients with added comfort, energy savings, and value
in their new home.
When
building or buying a new home there are many things
to consider. Among the most important are the homebuilder’s attention
to detail, his ongoing commitment to quality construction,

my years as a builder/developer, I have built a reputation

Our
Professional Involvement
Prior to entering
the home construction, Tom received a bachelor’s degree
in Mechanical Engineering, and a Master’s Degree
in Business Administration. While working in industry for
8 years Tom belonged to various professional societies
within his field. And so, once the home building began,
he immediately joined the Local Homebuilder’s Association.
As a member for 25 years, Tom has served as the president
of the local HBA, and is a National Director for the National
Association of Homebuilder’s. Continually seeking
ongoing education in his profession it is routine for
Tom to attend national conventions and to regularly attend
training classes here locally. In 2002 Tom was honored
to receive the prestigious Hall of Fame Award. This is
an honor given to the builder member who exemplifies devotion
to professionalism in all aspects of his work. This is
an honor Tom is especially proud of since it comes from
his peers and represents many of the things he has striven
to achieve in his profession.
